Faith was never meant to erase your pain — it was meant to carry you through it.

There was a time when I thought my mental struggles meant I was failing God.

When anxiety hit, when depression crept in, when the fear felt louder than my prayers —
I thought maybe my faith needed to be fixed.

I learned to live from spiritual perfectionism.I believed that if I just prayed harder, trusted more, and stayed strong, the pain inside me would eventually disappear.

But it didn’t.

It took me a long time — and a lot of grace — to realize that faith and mental health are not enemies.

-That honoring my pain was not abandoning my faith.
-That hurting wasn’t proof of weakness.
It was the invitation to meet God more deeply than I ever had before.

Because God meets you in your healing, not after it.

Spiritual perfectionism does not strengthen your faith.

It quietly breaks it.

It teaches you that feeling is wrong.
That showing weakness is unspiritual.
That healing must be fast, pretty, and private.

But here’s what no one told you:

Lasting healing begins where faith meets mental health.

A healing that recognizes trauma without minimizing faith.
That honors the mind, the body, the soul… and the stories that haven’t yet been told.

I know what it’s like to perform your faith on the outside while quietly falling apart on the inside. It’s exhausting to look strong when your soul is barely holding on.

My work is born from my lived experience, my clinical training, and my personal encounter with a God who never asked me to “be okay” to embrace me.

Then, you’ve landed in the right place.

I, Leslye – trauma therapist, woman of faith, and a survivor of spiritual perfectionism – don’t teach from theory.
I walk with you from healed scars.

My approach blends clinical trauma care with spiritual depth.
Not to give you religious answers,
